After only about a year in production the Perfex 44 was replaced by the 55. Features were identical, but the slow speeds were on a separate wind-up (a la Exakta) dial on the front. There was also a 22, identical to the 55 but for its nameplate, and the postwar DeLuxe, a 55 repackaged in a stamped body. Most Deluxe bodies wound up fitted with leaf shutters and renamed '101' or '102'.
